I really enjoyed building Vizuri Denim. I built a team, and I learned many skills that I can take with me in the future. I met great people along the way and it's sad to let it go but I definitely did enjoy the ride.

Some of the takeaways:

Think it and make it happen. It's possible. Can I host a successful webinar YES! Can we host workshops YES! Can we learn from mistakes YES! (Started looking at things in different
NETWORKING is Key (LinkedIn is a great tool but also attending conferences and industry-related events.
Content Creation is awareness and I enjoyed producing all types of video content.
Why Not? ( if you have an idea, go for it, you will always come out with new skills and perspectives that you may have not by staying in place. As a team, we wanted to try gorilla Marketing and we did. It may not have been on a big budget but it got the audience curious. )
Quick on Your Feet - (as a startup a lot of obstacles appear and I had to adjust to the surroundings and find new routes. Sometimes the team will come to you with problems and you have to find a solution. Trial and error and try again.

This is what I will be taking with me on my next Journey.

I want a career, not a job. A place that allows me to share my ideas and create. I'm very driven and like to give my all.

How it started

I started the Brand during my second year at University. After graduating in 2019 I decided to push myself further as I was struggling to get a job as Covid hit. I challenged myself after months of feeling stuck. I immersed myself in building the business. I focused on what I could do right now with no budget and grew from there. Learning to be resourceful.
